The Definitive Resource for
Agile for Hardware Methods

Step 7: First Sprint Complete

It’s been ten weeks since the JavaBrew agile team started development on their new smart coffee maker and they are now competing sprint five. This also marks the completion of their first iteration — a major milestone. But the team only completed 50% of their planned tasks and now the whole project is at risk if Lynda can’t remove her task block.

Did they fail? Can they get back on track?  Can agile help?

Going MAHD: The Coffee Maker Project

To help hardware development teams visualize the MAHD Framework, we have developed a series of nine articles to explain how agile methods and tools can be used for physical products, who should be involved, the outcomes for each step and how to overcome challenges. We hope you’ll join us on this journey as JavaBrew uses the MAHD Framework to develop an innovative new coffee maker.
